Virant Estate Rosé
Learn more
Virant Estate Rosé is a wine with the allure of traditional Provence. It is popular here in the south of France because local people know that the Cheylan family wanted this excellent wine to also be accessible. Few local wineries have chosen to offer such a product to their customers. Frequently awarded in national competitions, Virant Estate Rosé is a favorite wine of our local customers who seek pleasure on a daily basis.
Its Mediterranean Protected Geographical Indication (IGP) designation allows for great diversity in the choice of grape varieties. Because of this flexibility, we have selected Cinsault, Merlot, Grenache, and Caladoc grapes to give our Virant Estate Rosé its distinctive fruit and citrus aromas.
Pairings
Try this rosé as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to your grilled meats, salads, or pizzas. This wine will impress you with its freshness and its versatility.
Tasting advice
Enjoy this wine chilled. Try adding ceramic ice cubes to the glass to accentuate the freshness without altering the fruity taste on the palate.
Environmental distinction
Château Virant has an HVE 3 certification issued by the French government. This distinguished label is only obtained after having reached the highest level of environmental certification for farms. This label signifies sustainable production and practices with careful management of natural resources.
Awards
In 2016, our Virant Estate Rosé won the silver medal at the Concours Général Agricole de Paris.
This competition allows farmers across France to compete against their peers in select categories. Year after year, Château Virant continues to medal with its wines and its olive oils, making it one of the most awarded estates in all of France.
In 2019, the Virant Estate Rosé also won a gold medal at the Aix-en-Provence competition.
The Aix-en-Provence competition recognizes the best wines of the Aix-en-Provence protected region. It is a competition of producers whose wines are judged by the professionals in the industry. Château Virant, with its many vintages, is a frequent winner in this esteemed competition.
