Prestige Red Wine
Learn more
Like some grands crus Class A, our Prestige Red is a blend of two grape varieties: Cabernet and Syrah. The result of close collaboration between our oenologists, our cellar master, and members of the Cheylan Family, this wine exemplifies the best of Château Virant's skill. Naturally aged in our 17th century cellar, this red wine perfects its expression for one year in oak barrels.
From harvest to topping, we closely monitor each step in the development of this cru. At Château Virant, we act as guardians of the traditional artisanal methods that allow for the creation of this spectacular wine.
Long in the mouth, this red wine presents powerful, complex aromas of vanilla, caramel, blackberries, cherries, and spices. This bouquet of flavors results from the select grape varieties used and the careful attention paid to the development of this special vintage.
Pairings
Our Prestige Red is best enjoyed with red meats and wild game and frequently accompanies gourmet meals. This red wine also delivers incredible aromas when paired with chocolate.
