This wine was created by the Cheylan family as the point of union between trend and tradition. Its color and its citrus notes, called "thiols" by professionals, are signs of its modernity. Its dominant aromas of red fruits, green apple, and its powerful structure all bear witness to the qualities of a rosé that has stood the test of time.
The grape varieties used to make this wine indicate its high quality: Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Grenache.

Tasting advice
Remember that the magnum-sized bottle requires more time to come to temperature than a bottle of a classic size. Be sure to chill your wine to 12° C before serving. Use frozen glasses or porcelain ice cubes to create the optimal temperature.
Environmental distinction
Château Virant has an HVE 3 certification issued by the French government. This distinguished label is only obtained after having reached the highest level of environmental certification for farms. This label signifies sustainable production and practices with careful management of natural resources.
Awards
The Inspiration rosé regularly wins awards in the national Vinalies competition. In 2018 it won the Prix d'Excellence (prize of excellence), and in 2020 it won a silver medal.
The jury for the Vinalies Nationales competition is made up exclusively of oenologists who note both the quality and the typicity of the wines submitted for tasting. Winning a prize in this prestigious professional competition is the assurance of being a recognized producer in the wine industry.
The Inspiration rosé also won the gold medal at the Mondial du Rosé in 2018.
The Mondial du Rosé competition, organized by the oenologists of France, is an international competition that judges and rewards the best vintages. It is a competition mainly intended for catering and wine professionals which allows them to assess the quality of the wines of an estate on a global scale.
In 2017 and 2020, the Inspiration rosé won a gold medal at the Aix-en-Provence competition. In 2014, 2015, and 2016 it won a silver medal.
The Aix-en-Provence competition identifies the best wines of the Aix-en-Provence PDO region. It is a competition of producers whose wines are judged by the professionals of the region. Château Virant, with its many vintages is a frequent and worthy winner.
